It’s been a while since my last post, longer than I anticipated, actually. The reason is a happy one, though. That’s right, there’s a new baby Colorgeek on the way!
I couldn’t be more excited to add a third (!!!) child to my family, but this kid is making sure I know s/he is there every minute of every day. For about the past month, I’ve been dealing with hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), which I had the misfortune to experience with my second pregnancy as well. My little family and I are making it work, but unfortunately I’ve had to take a step back from the business for a few weeks. It subsided around 17 weeks last time, so I’m hoping for a recordbreaking fetus.
Those of you who have experienced HG before know how debilitating it can be. I’m so thankful to my family, friends, and above all my amazing husband for stepping up when I can’t. I’ve had plenty of time to take care of myself and work on CG matters at my own pace, even when that pace is not really a “pace” so much as lying in a ball on the couch.
I’m optimistic for the future, and I’ve even got some short-term travel plans in the works. I will be traveling to Madison, WI from April 29-30th and bringing my PCA gear along with me! Click here to inquire about travel rates and set up your appointment.
I also have an inquiry for Honolulu, HI in May or June, so if you are interested in booking, contact me here.
And don’t think I’ve forgotten about all you Bright Springs out there – March’s installment of the Things I Love series will be posted before the month is done. In the meantime, feel free to check out my Pinterest boards for some BSp inspiration (and every other season, of course).
Thank you so much for all your support!
